Monaco Baby

With just over an hour to go to before the mad rush for the most important pole position in the F1 calendar gets under way the only question that reamins is will anyone be able to stop the seemingly unstoppable force of wich is the RB7? Well Alonso and Hamilton are the only people in my mind that are up to the challenge, as much as i respect Jenson's smooth driving style and strategical decisions i dont think hes got the pace this weekend, at least thats what free practice would have me believe, but this is f1 so anything could happen... Lewis has said himself that "I really want to win this Grand Prix, man" and he needs to win this Grand Prix to stop Seb running away with the title and making the season boring. we all know that he's up to the challenge and i hope that puts in the blistering lap that we all know he's capable of. Alonso is the other man that needs to win here, even more so than Hamilton. The Ferrari has been off the pace ever since Melbourne and without a win here and Alonso already being 61 points off championship leader Sebastian Vettel the chance of Alonso taking a 3rd title will be even harder. DRS is the other thing that needs a mention, even though it made a normally boring Spanish Grand Prix bloody exiting I find it hard to see that we're going to see any DRS aided overtakes on the winding streets of Monte Carlo. Strategy seems to be the only way to fight your way through the field here and even that well be hard as some teams think it will be possible do a one stop race, the chances of that are very slim so I think we'll see a fight between the two stoppers and the three.
So bring on what I hope is a brilliant Monaco Grand Prix, i hope we see a car on the number one spot of the grid that isn't a  Red Bull. I'm biast and wouldn't mind it being the shining McLaren of Lewis Hamilton but we'll have to wait and see. This is going to be the most important race so far, not one to miss...
